Applications are open to college upperclassmen (juniors and seniors) and graduate students. Applicants must be enrolled, or planned to be enrolled, in fields of study that relate to the mission of the Tampa Garden Club such as ecology, horticulture, conservation, or other allied subjects
Wekiva Youth Camp Scholarship Application
The Wekiva Youth Camp is a residential nature camp for children in grades 3 through 8 and is comprised of 6 one-week sessions during the summer months at the Wekiwa Springs State Park. Attendees partner with the Florida Parks Service to improve and maintain the facilities and take part in crafts, hikes, outdoor exploration, and a general enjoyment of the surrounding nature. The goal of the camp is to instilling and encourage a love and respect for the REAL Florida in our youth through nature study, conservation and protection of our environment.
The Tampa Garden Club will provide financial assistance for up to half of the camp fee for qualifying applicants.

Community Growth Grant
The Tampa Garden Club awards grants to non-profit organizations to provide financial support of projects that complement our community priorities.
Our Priorities include:
- Stimulating an awareness and interest in the value of gardening
- Preserving our communities’ green space and natural resources
- Educating the public on environmental and beautification concerns
The maximum grant shall be $1000 and are offered annually. The deadline to apply for a grant is October 1st. The grant(s) are awarded in the fall.
