The Tampa Federation of Garden Club Circles, Inc. (TGC) Photo Contest-2023 is open to all members and their children or grandchildren up to the age of 18.
There will be four category winners and an “Overall Winner.”
When submitting an entry to the TCG Members’ Photo Contest 2023, entrants certify that their participation is not illegal or in violation of any law, regulation, treaty, or administrative act. They also certify that the work is their own. We will announce the winners at the Combined Circle meeting in November and post the Winners’ photos on our website (tampagardenclub.com).
ENTRY PERIOD
The contest begins at 9:00 EDT on August 14, 2023 and ends at midnight EDT
September 30, 2023. Submissions received after the Entry Period are ineligible.
WHAT TO ENTER
TGC strives to heighten awareness of the beauty of nature, our native flora and fauna, as
well as our responsibility to promote remaining green spaces, native wildlife and their
shrinking habitat. We want pictures of nature that inspire, warm, and visually narrate what
you see. Look closely for the small things, instead of the obvious.
No more than 5 photos per individual entrant and images are to be submitted electronically by email attachment. Please do not send more than one photo per email. Photos
that have been digitally altered beyond standard optimization (removal of dust, cropping,
reasonable adjustments to exposure, color, contrast and brightness, etc.) will be disqualified. Drone photos are not eligible.
